Petrossian Caviar’s 100th Anniversary

This once-in-a-lifetime, milestone event taking place in Little Washington on September 19th. Petrossian Caviar has asked The Inn at Little Washington to host a Black Tie Celebration in honor of their 100th Anniversary.

This unique partnership with the world’s leading caviar purveyor promises to be an unforgettable evening featuring a 10-course caviar dinner menu paired with exquisite wines. Before dinner, guests will join Alexandre Petrossian, caviar expert and grandson of the founder of Petrossian for a Dom Pérignon and caviar reception in The Inn’s colonial ballroom with passed caviar canapés and hors d’oeuvres, an oyster bar, blini station and vintage Dom Pérignon.

Following the reception, the 10-course all-caviar centennial dinner menu will be served in our Michelin 3-star restaurant and will feature some of The Inn’s classic favorites such as the Tin of Sin and unveil new dishes created especially for the occasion including Shrimp and Caviar Tacos, Lilliputian Caviar Ice Cream Cones and Kobe Beef with Caviar-Bone Marrow Custard. Each course will be paired with a wine chosen to elevate and enhance the nuances of the various types of caviar being served from all over the world.

Petrossian is a third-generation family dynasty headquartered in Paris. The company was begun by two Armenian refugees who immigrated to France in 1920. Petrossian came on the scene during this decade of prosperity, flappers, racoon coats, bathtub gin, jazz bands and marathon dancers. The spirit of the roaring 20s brought with it a revolution in morals and manners. This colorful era will provide ample inspiration for the evening’s festivities.
