Life in the Congo

Join us this Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 7 pm at the Rapp Libary to hear more about a young Rappahannock County couple’s journey from chaos to calm; from the Congo to Rapp County.
Rebecca Beardsley & Kris Forrest have lived and worked in numerous places in the world including 2 years in the Congo. They will share tales from living amid the chaos there where they never felt real comfort, could never let their guard down, and all that while surrounded by true poverty in a police state.
They will also share with us the immense beauty of the land as well as “the best meals of fish” they have ever had in their lives!
