Using huge old trees killed by lightning, tornadoes, hurricanes, and natural causes we slab them from bark to bark.  Dry them 3 years, then kiln dry, and plane to 2 inches.  Making Dining tables, desk, coffee tables, and shelves.  I only buy the wildest grain, if it’s ordinary, it’s not here.
