First Annual Faerie Festival

Calling all faeries, knights, princes, elves, wizards, hobbits, and gnomes! Celebrate the summer solstice with LeFay Cottage at Little Washington and its magic makers on Sunday, June 26th at the First Annual Faerie Festival.
 
This special event held at LeFay Cottage will mark a new wish-granting location for children who need hope the most. The family-friendly event will include music, arts and crafts, magical vendors, contests, and much more with a portion of the proceeds going to the @Make-A-Wish Foundation.
 
Don’t miss the first harvest of lavender from LeFay Cottage and a special chance to make a wish at the Love Lavender Farm, – an enchanting garden of lavender in the shape of a heart. Ages 3 to 99 and pets welcome! Prepare for a magically enchanting day outdoors in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
 
Cash prizes awarded for best costume and faerie house/garden contest. Our timeline for the event will be updated soon!
 
Outdoor restrooms are provided.
 
Consider Bringing: Lounge items – blankets, chairs, comfortable shoes, reusable water bottles, lovely friends. Dogs are welcome so long as they remain on leash at all times.
 
This is an outdoor event, and our event is rain or shine. Tickets are $12 (non-refundable).

Earthquest – Wildlife Education Center Earthquest is a non-profit organization that utilizes non-releasable birds of prey to educate people about how their daily actions affect these wonderful animals …come meet their baby hawk, owls and other birds.
 
Sandy’s Face Painting Sandy’s Face Painting specializes in everything from flowers to faeries, mermaids, butterflies, dragons, and superheroes.
 
Wollam Gardens – This 11-acre flower farm and event destination in Jefferson, VA will be making beautiful flower crowns and flower dog collars.
 
Milda & Company Milda’s shop in Flint Hill, Rappahannock is filled with love, beauty, and the wonders of nature. Fantasy gifts including crystal collectibles, jewelry, natural body and home products will be for purchase.
 
Faerie Magic by Jamie. Jamie will be doing faerie hair, and has tutu’s, faerie wings and more.
 
Miss Minerva’s Tea Room & Gifts – Miss Minerva’s Tea Room & Gifts is a traditional tearoom and gift shop in historic downtown Culpeper, VA. Miss Minerva will provide an Alice in Wonderland Teatime during the event.
